The Short Story Brasserie won the Best Entrée category at the Granville Rotary Club’s eighth annual Granville Culinary Festival that was held on January 25th, 2009 at the Cherry Valley Lodge in Newark, Ohio.  More than a dozen top chefs and restaurants from central Ohio participated in the festival including The Longaberger Company, Granville Inn and The Cherry Valley Lodge.

Executive Chef Chad Lavely prepared the Wild Mushroom “Chicken and Dumplings” that are available as a hot small plate in the restaurant’s current menu.  The Dirty Little Secrets truffles were also presented in the Desert Category and were very well received by the attendees.

The Granville Culinary Festival raised more than $25,000 to support the Granville Rotary Club’s service projects and The Short Story Brasserie is delighted to have been part of this excellent event.
